Begue Wedding
My big sister Sarah got married! In Las Vegas!! to a great man named Aaron Begue! I was in the wedding but got the honor of shooting some "getting ready" and some reception shots. Sarah and Aaron live in Columbus, Ohio and work in the medical field. Sarah is a nurse in Children's Hospital and Aaron is a Nurse Practitioner, Every year they go to Hocking Hills for a weekend and that is where Aaron proposed! It was a very nice proposal, complete with a game and a hidden ring!
It was a load of fun and here's proof!

Jamison Wedding!
Tim and Mallory Jamison - September 6th, 2008
It's wedding season for a bunch of lovely people near and dear to my heart! The first of three celebrations we are attending is the Johnston/Jamison Wedding. My hubby, Tim and I were both asked to be in this one, so we were particularly excited, however, being in a wedding is not conducive to getting great photos of the ceremony! I took a ton at the reception though, which can be viewed here!
Tim Jamison is my husband's best and longest friend. They grew up next door neighbors and as grown-ups (sorta) they are still very close. I actually met my husband at Tim Jamison's house and married that boy next door! The Jamison Family is spectacular and very important to my husband and I.
I met Mallory, the bride, only in December 2007, but we became friends instantly. She is a super talented painter and all around nice person. She is easy going and when I asked how to wear my hair in the wedding she said, without hesitation, "however you want." You gotta love that!!
I know these two are going to have a very beautiful life together, they have passion for life and they respect each other as individuals. Not to mention, they can throw one heck of a party! (Can't wait for Tacky Christmas, part deux!)

my nephews.
Okay, so my husband's family boasts some really cute kids. My nephews are so stinkin' adorable and rotten at the same time, but you gotta love them. I pulled the camera on them near the end of this summer and got a ton of cute photos for their mom's brag book. I like the unexpected and none of these pictures were planned, the one of the bed was in the midst of a romper room session, I can't believe how innocent they look!
Landon at 2 years old.
fresh picked. just the way he likes them.

some starter shots
This is my husband, Tim, messing around with candles in the dark. The panorama is nice!
This was one of those sneak attack photos. We were leaving The Blind Tiger in Greensboro after watching Holy Ghost Tent Revival play there, post Avett Brothers War Memorial show, circa summer of '07. I saw the opener band "best when tipsy" in the car and snapped this photo.
I thought I should share a few random photos with everyone. I mean, ya gotta start someplace right? Feel free to leave comments and ask questions.
