It's Wedding Season!

I have been a bad blogger, but I have tons to report. I'll split them up into photo entries so I don't ramble as bad as usual. (hah!)

Remember Blair & Josh from their engagement session earlier in the year? Well, they got married on June 27th and it was absolutely wonderful in every way. Michelle Waters is a stellar photographer in Parkersburg and I am lucky enough to have formed a friendship with her (and some other wonderful photographers) through Oh Snap! and internet stalking one another. She and the others have taught me a ton and I love shooting with them.

Last week Michelle, my hub Tim and I all did a shoot at the Parkersburg City Park 4th of July Carnival! Jess and Tony are getting married and we talked them into playing along with us!

I have been a fan The Avett Brothers since April Fool's Day 2006 when I first witnessed their beautiful music at the Purple Fiddle in Elkins, WV. I have been photographing them for about a year and a half now and find them to be one of my favorite subjects. Today, something pretty cool happened and I wanted to share =]

One of my Black & White photographs of The Avett Brothers (Scott and Seth) at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio in June is being used on www.theavettbrothers.com front page. =]
